IN PLAIN LANGUAGEPrivacy Policy
EFFECTIVE AUGUST 17, 2026 · BATH GOWNS LLC, 202 CENTRAL AVE, BRADFORDSVILLE, KY 40009
· What we collect. Very little, honestly. If you ask for a trade quote, we get what you type: name and email (required), plus company, phone, who the robes are for, quantity, timeline, cloths and embroidery interest, and your message. If you email or call, we have whatever you chose to tell us — and our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for about 30 days, for security and debugging. Your shopping bag never reaches us at all: it lives only in your browser’s memory, is never saved or sent anywhere, and empties when you close the tab.
· What we use it for. To answer you — that’s nearly the whole story. Quote details let us price and plan your order; emails and calls let us make, ship, and stand behind your robes; logs let us keep the site up and spot trouble. We don’t build profiles and we don’t keep a marketing list — no newsletters, we only write back.
· The lawyerly framing. European law asks us to name a legal basis for each use, so here they are in plain words. We handle your quote and order details because you asked us to make you something — that’s “contract.” We keep short-lived server logs to protect the site — that’s “legitimate interest” — and we hold tax and warranty records because the law requires it, which is “legal obligation.” Anything beyond those happens only if you say yes, and that’s “consent,” which you can take back anytime.
· What we never do. We don’t sell your personal information, rent it, or share it with anyone for advertising. There are no ad pixels and no analytics suites. We do use Termly for cookie consent, and optional tawk.to live chat only after you allow that category. Fonts are served from our own servers. The current list is on the cookie policy.
· Who we share with. Only the few hands the work requires: our hosting provider serves the site and holds the logs, our email provider carries the mail, and UPS or USPS deliver your robes. Payments never run through this website — orders are arranged by email or phone, and cards are handled by the payment processor named on your invoice, so full card numbers never touch our systems. If the law lawfully demands information — a valid subpoena or court order — we comply, and hand over no more than required. Every provider may use your information only to do its job for us.
· How long we keep it. Order and invoice records: 7 years, for tax and warranty reasons. Quote requests and correspondence: 24 months, so we remember what we discussed. Server logs: about 30 days, then gone. When a period ends, we delete.
· How it’s protected. Everything between your browser and this site travels encrypted over HTTPS. We’re a small team, and access is need-to-know — the person sewing your robe sees your embroidery spelling, not your whole file. If we ever confirm a breach that affects you, we’ll tell you without undue delay, and within 72 hours of confirming it; where GDPR applies, we also notify the supervisory authority within 72 hours, as the law requires. The longer story lives at Trust & Security.
· Your rights, everywhere. Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you; correct it; delete it; hand you a copy to take elsewhere; restrict or object to how we use it; or withdraw any consent you gave. Email privacy@bathgowns.com and we’ll answer within 30 days, free of charge. Asking never costs you anything with us — no worse service, no cold shoulder.
· European visitors. If GDPR applies to you, everything above works the same, and you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority — though we’d welcome the chance to put things right first. Our servers sit in the United States, so your data crosses the Atlantic; when it does, it travels under data-processing agreements that bind our providers to use it only for us, and it stays under everything promised on this page. We don’t have a Data Protection Officer — at our size the law doesn’t require one — so privacy@bathgowns.com reaches the people actually responsible.
· California and other states. State privacy laws give you the right to know what we collect, delete it, correct it, and opt out of its sale or sharing — and since we never sell or share personal information for advertising, there’s nothing to opt out of. Send requests to privacy@bathgowns.com; an authorized agent may submit one for you. California requests get an answer within 45 days where the law allows it; everyone else hears back within 30. We will never treat you worse for asking.
· Not for children. This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. Ordering takes someone 18 or older — or a parent or guardian ordering for you. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write privacy@bathgowns.com and we’ll delete it promptly.
· When this changes. If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and meaningful changes get a plain-language note on this page. We won’t quietly rewrite the rules and hope you don’t notice.
· Talk to a person. Questions, requests, or doubts: privacy@bathgowns.com, or call +1 (364) 209-8792, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Eastern. Post reaches us at Bath Gowns LLC, 202 Central Ave, Bradfordsville, KY 40009. A person answers.
